and how well you are prepared to assist the real estate professional.
Following the advice in this section will ensure that your professional
relationship with your client is a rewarding one and your success
will depend on your knowledge.
As a IREAA™ you must have the
latest technology and the most up to date software such as MS Word,
MS Publisher, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and have the knowledge to
go into and maintain an online program in order to handle your
client’s needs.
You need to understand how different programs
work so that you can add listings, marketing information and photos
to promote the seller’s home and you must have an understanding
that listings are the lifeline of your Realtor’s business,
if they are a listing agent. Listing Agents are discussed later
in this chapter.
A IREAA™ must learn the market
their client is located in and have a grasp of the market and what
that market expects, what one market like Fremont , CA wants is
totally different than that of Frisco , Texas . There is research
involved and to become the best IREAA™ in the market
you must take the time to learn each market and know it as well
as your client so you can always stay one step a head of them.

You must realize is that being a real estate
IREAA™ is being the CEO of your own business. It is
up to you to make all the decisions on how to run your business
and in order to maximize your success as a IREAA™ you
must treat it as a business, not as an individual. Your clients
are the lifeline to your business and they can make or break you. Your
clients may never meet you personally so you must posses a business,
but friendly and caring attitude. This is how you are judge by
the outside world and clients need to feel comfortable with you
at all times.
IREAA™ must be organized and
know about each aspect of theirs client business and must have
knowledge of listings in their inventory. This is vital so when
you client emails, IMs or calls you can quickly put your hand on
their file in order to discuss the activity of that listing. Work
independently, do not rely on the client to provide you with information,
but take the initiative to seek the information and share it with
your client.
